Chaos Material Computing Club is inspired by Chaos Computing Club

The Chaos Material Computer Club (CMCC) is intended as an open forum about technical and societal issues of computational materials research.

The goals of this initiative are:

• Share technical information and insights without the constraints imposed by research publishing, marketing, or politics. 
• Discuss ethical and societal issues such as non-free software, data privacy, freedom of information, data security and many other interesting things around computational materials research.
